Chief Executive Officer
Loh Yew Seng first joined Singapore Press Holdings in July 2001 and was the Vice-President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for the magazines business group before being appointed as Chief Executive Officer of SPH Magazines in June 2006.
He began his career in 1994 with Arthur Andersen and held notable corporate finance and financial analyst positions in Banque International à Luxembourg, Van der Horst Limited and Visa International.
Yew Seng holds a Bachelor of Accountancy, Honours (Second Class, Upper) from Nanyang Technological University and has been a Chartered Financial Analyst since 1999.
As Managing Director, Lifestyle Division at SPH Magazines, Maureen oversees the Fashion and Beauty portfolio. Prior to her current appointment, Maureen was Advertisement Sales Director at Singapore Press Holdings Limited, where she was responsible for a team managing the advertising portfolio in the Banking, Finance & Insurance as well as the FMCG & Medical sectors.
Prior to joining SPH, Maureen started her working/professional career in Shell Eastern Petroleum as a management trainee, working through several areas of Personnel, Industrial Relations and Retail Marketing.
As Managing Director, Luxury and Custom Publishing, Geoff Tan heads both the Luxury and Custom Publishing divisions. He oversees leading luxury magazine brands such as The Peak and Icon and their extensions, as well as a portfolio of award-winning custom content solutions for clients such as Singapore Airlines, SingHealth Group, Cold Storage and Diageo Singapore.
Prior to joining SPH Magazines, Geoff was heading the strategic marketing portfolio in SPH’s Marketing Division which included Business Development, Research & Analytics, Content Marketing, Product Branding & Promotions, and a Creative Lab. He was well-known in the market for being a passionate evangelist of SPH’s integrated media ideology, and acts as mentor to start-up companies housed within the SPH Plug and Play media accelerator initiative.
Geoff has spoken at major industry conferences in Australia, Austria, Denmark, the Middle East, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Ukraine, Vietnam, and Canada. He was conferred the PANPA 2011 MARKETER OF THE YEAR accolade by the Pacific Area Newspaper Publishers Association for outstanding performance in marketing for a newspaper publishing company.
As Managing Director of New Media at SPH Magazines, Joseph is responsible for spearheading the Group’s overall digital growth, including the expansion of SPHM’s existing online properties and launching of new ones. These include the award-winning Hardwarezone.com and HerWorldPLUS.
Prior to his current appointment, Joseph was at SPH as Vice President in the Corporate Development division before moving on to lead 701Search Pte Ltd in 2007 and subsequently SPH’s wholly owned subsidiary, SPH Interactive International, focusing on new media initiatives in the region.
Prior to joining SPH, Joseph had spent 4 years at Bertelsmann AG, spearheading Arvato’s Business Development and Strategic Planning for Asia Pacific, and before that 3 years with Abacus International heading up their New Technologies and Alternate Distribution Division.
One of the most well-known faces in the Singapore magazine publishing industry, Caroline Ngui leads a team of talented group editors and editors in ensuring that readers of SPH Magazines’ publications get editorial content and features of the highest quality.
Under Caroline’s charge, SPH Magazines has been presented with a host of awards both locally and regionally such as the Asian Print Awards, Asian Publishing Awards, IFRA Asia Media Awards, APEX Awards, Magnum Opus Awards. SPH Magazines was also honoured with accolades from the Magazines Publishers Association of Singapore (MPAS) and the Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA), proving that SPH Magazines is indeed the Publisher of Choice.
