SEVENTEEN 5th BIRTHDAY PARTY AND SUPERSTYLIN’ CONTEST
Singapore August 2, 2007 Seventeen Singapore, published by SPH Magazines Pte Ltd, celebrates its fifth birthday this year with a fabulousSuperstylin’ twist.
Miss Seventeen Superstylin’ contest provides a platform for young aspiring fashion stylists and models to learn about the work that goes on behind the scenes of a top fashion magazine and the jobs of industry professionals.
100 teams have responded to our call for entry to this extraordinary contest. Each team consists of a pair of girlfriends -- one plays the fashion stylist, the other the runway model.
Meet the girls in person as they swing into action on Aug 4, 2007 (Saturday), at Ministry Of Sound. The aspiring stylists and models will come dressed to the theme of Bright Lego Colors.
It'll be a dream come true for the participants as they get up close and personal with beauty experts, fashion stylists as well as a runway coach -- and learn a tip or two! There will also be special guest appearances by MTV VJ Choy and renowned runway director Nixem.
Eight shortlisted stylists will get to put their new skills into practise and style their friends in a special Superstylin’ supplement to be featured in the October 2007 issue of Seventeen. The aspiring models will also get to live the dream as they bring out the best in their outfits and learn how to strut their stuff.
As the perfect end, the winning duo will receive a styling and modelling stint with Seventeen magazine, and walk away with other fantastic prizes too!
