The Hardware Zone team receives the Hitwise Singapore Online Performance Awards tonight (3 April 2008) at the third annual celebration organized by Hitwise at Bar Cocoon at Clarke Quay. After its win last year (2006), www.hardwarezone.com®, is once again ranked No. 1 for 2007, by visits among all Singapore websites in the Hitwise Computers and Internet – Hardware, News and Media - IT Media and Computers and Internet - Social Networking and Forums. These awards are awarded by Hitwise for the best performing websites in their respective categories. Visits and pageloads to these sites are tracked by Hitwise.
www.hardwarezone.com® attracted more than just technology enthusiasts. It now has a community of 290,000 members contributing to various interests of discussion. In Singapore alone, statistics stand at 858,000 unique visitors with over 24 million pageviews for the month of December 2007. These figures are from Google Analytics.
The Hitwise Award recognises websites from over 160 industries that are leaders in their respective category.
Over the past 6 years, www.hardwarezone.com®, has bagged over 17 Hitwise awards. It has constantly beaten many other websites to be No. 1, and the website has grown with an increase in the number of visits by 39.79% to 6.91 million for the period January to December 2007, from the same period in 2006.
