SPH Magazines Bagged SOPA's Excellence in Magazine Design Award With Her World
Singapore, 7 Jun 2008 – SPH Magazines Pte Ltd was honoured at the Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA) 2008 Awards for Editorial Excellence Presentation Dinner on 4 June when it received the Excellence in Magazine Design Award. The dinner was held at JW Marriott Hotel in Hong Kong.
The Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA) Awards for Editorial Excellence were established in 1999 to honour editorial excellence in both traditional and new media, and encourage editorial vitality throughout the region. This year's SOPA Awards, co-ordinated and judged by a committee of publishing professionals, saw 629 entries in 17 categories. SOPA's Award for Excellence in Magazine Design 2008 was given to Her World for its lively layout with contemporary and punchy use of photography.

Her World's accolades include the Gold Award by 3rd Asian Print Awards in 2005 and Silver Award for Magazine Design by IFRA Asia Media in 2006. It has been rated the No. 1 women's magazine in Singapore with a readership of 210,000 by Nielsen Media Index 2007.
