SPH Magazines Appoints New Online Editor Singapore, 1 September 2010 - SPH Magazines has appointed Niki Bruce as Editor for herworld.com, the website of Her World magazine, Singapore's Number One and most-read women's magazine.
Bruce's last appointment since December 2008 was as Night Editor for The Straits Times’ www.straitstimes.com, where she has been involved in streamlining production and implementing the use of social media. She was also part of the SPH team involved in discovery workshops for a planned new Content Management System (CMS).
Bruce has over eight years’ experience in print publishing and four in online media. She has worked in Australia and Beijing for The Cairns Post and Metro Media respectively. She also helped launch Cairns.com.au, which won her and her team the PANPA Award for Online Newspaper of The Year (Regional) in 2008.
As herworld.com’s Online Editor, she reports directly to Susanah Cheok, Group Editor Fashion & Beauty, SPH Magazines.
