Eugene Wee

Eugene started his career in SPH as an intern with The New Paper in 1996, before joining full time in 1999. He spent the next 20 years in the newsroom as a journalist, a correspondent based in the US, and an editor.

As the editor of The New Paper, he was responsible for the rebranding and relaunch of the tabloid-format paper as a freesheet in 2016. He then went on to helm The Sunday Times as its editor 2019, before taking on the role of SPH’s Head of Media Strategy in 2020, which he holds concurrently with his chief executive role in SPH Magazines.

One of the most well-known faces in the Singapore magazine publishing industry, Caroline Ngui leads a team of talented group editors and editors to deliver high-quality content effectively amplified across all platforms to readers of SPH Magazines’, empowering extensive reach and depth of engagement.

Under Caroline’s charge, SPH Magazines has been presented with a host of awards both locally and regionally such as the Asian Print Awards, Asian Publishing Awards, IFRA Asia Media Awards, APEX Awards, Magnum Opus Awards. SPH Magazines was also honoured with accolades from the Magazines Publishers Association of Singapore (MPAS) and the Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA), proving that SPH Magazines is indeed the Publisher of Choice.

Diana Lee
Managing Director
Business Solutions

 

As Managing Director of the BUSINESS SOLUTIONS division, Diana oversees the Sales portfolio. The division is now structured by industry/sector specializations and consults across all magazine titles and audiences. Prior to her current appointment, Diana was instrumental in strengthening the competencies of the Sales and Marketing Teams and steering the transformation journey of these teams. She has been building programs for digital and integrated sales across magazine networks.   

Diana will drive the key revenue pillar of the business as she works with the Editorial, Marketing and Digital teams to continually innovate in the creation of client solutions.
